Drive rivets are the ideal hardware for the installation of signs to a square sign post. Their design not only allows for fast and easy installation, but also provides tamper resistance. Our drive rivets include a nylon washer to protect the face of the sign during installation.
Installing a drive rivet is as easy as hitting the pin with a hammer until it is flush with the head. We recommend installing these before you install the sign post into your anchor post, while your sign post is laying flat on the ground making installation much easier.
Our drive rivets fit into a 3/8" hole (standard telespar square posts) with a 1" head diameter and include black nylon washers.
We also have drive rivets with a 3/4" head for small signs, such as 12"x18" parking signs and 12"x6" plaques, as the 1" drive rivets may obscure the sign legends. The 3/4" drive rivers are only available in aluminum.
